Job Description

JOB PURPOSE :

Reporting to the IST Engineering Program director, you will be in charge to deliver IST project related to the Alstom Engineering domain

YOUR JOB :

Plan and organize projects

Plan/organize the delivery of the Project in the region and its activities in accordance with the Global Regional roadmaps, Governance process standard IST operating model

Contribute to optimize delivery model following defined sourcing strategy

Propose implement initiatives to optimize plan / cost / quality

Ensure that Project activities follow standard methodology, process and tools

Apply templates and records to document Project activities following our standards

Work closely with PMO and ensure project methodology is adhered to

Resource projects

Contribute to define the capacity plan, skill matrix and adapt the sourcing model

Ensure that capacity plan for the project are maintained timely

Lead projects

Contribute to the Project strategy definition in the region

Build strong and lasting networks with key stakeholders in ISTT and Business

Manage the Project plan scope / resources and tasks

Manage Project interdependencies

Identify and mitigate risks drive out barriers to success, escalate as needed

Manage Project staff by providing direction, input and feedback communicate with PL and other stakeholders in the region to gain community support for the Project and to solicit input to improve the Project

Control projects

Report Project status timely and following standards

Ensure that the Project operate within the approved budget / scope

Monitor all budgeted Project expenditures

Ensure that all financial records for the Project are up to date

Identify and evaluate the risks associated with Project activities and take appropriate action to control the risks

Use the Project evaluation framework to assess the strengths of the Project and to identify areas for improvement (lessons learned)
