Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your meticulous engineering and quality assurance expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, innovative, and adaptable teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the compliance of products and parts delivered by Alstom facilities.
Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Production, Industrial, Testing, Supply Chain, Project Quality), spearheading continuous improvement and championing quality defect prevention, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of conducting thorough inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures, but also leading the team of inspectors and nurturing customer relationships in the rolling stock domain.
We’ll look to you for:
- Encouraging and promoting quality criteria within the Production team - Performing rigorous inspections and contributing to site enhancement initiatives
- Supporting new product introductions to ensure adherence to supplier quality standards
- Analyzing and utilizing quality data to identify process advancement opportunities - Functionally leading the team of inspectors and enhancing quality incident reporting
- Developing comprehensive control plans for rolling stock inspection
- Fostering a Right First Time ethos to cultivate continuous improvement and preventive measures

- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related field preferred)
- Experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control, with metro or rolling stock experience as a plus
- Knowledge of welding inspection, NDT qualifications, and quality tools (8D, PFMEA, SPC)
- Familiarity with ISO 9001-2015 standards
- A Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification is a bonus
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word
-Strong collaborative, persuasive, and resilience skills
- Fluency in English and proven team management capabilities
