Key Responsibilities :
- Provide expert-level support for Oracle SCM activities related to inventory control projects, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Drive improvements in WMS cycle counting processes through analysis, optimization, and implementation of best practices.
This includes :
- Implementing ABC analysis and inventory classification methodologies.
- Streamlining cycle counting procedures for enhanced accuracy and efficiency.
- Managing inventory adjustments and reconciliations.
- Optimize storage and replenishment strategies within the warehouse
- Implement and maintain Min-Max replenishment strategies to effectively manage inventory levels.
- Ensure efficient and timely movement of materials within the warehouse.
- Optimize storage locations and methods to maximize space utilization and minimize handling costs.
- Ensure adherence to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles across all inventory movements and transactions.
- Provide strong functional expertise in Oracle Cloud Discrete Manufacturing and Inventory modules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (i.e. operations, logistics, IT) to ensure successful project implementation and ongoing support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex inventory-related issues effectively and efficiently.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and best practices in inventory management and Oracle SCM technologies.
- Proactively identify and communicate potential risks and challenges related to inventory control processes.
- Document and maintain comprehensive documentation related to inventory control processes, procedures, and configurations.
Required Skills :
- 10+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle SCM Functional Consultant.
- Strong expertise in Oracle Cloud Discrete Manufacturing and Inventory modules.
- In-depth knowledge of inventory control best practices, including cycle counting, ABC analysis, inventory classification, and replenishment strategies.
- Proven ability to implement and support Min-Max replenishment methods.
- Experience with FIFO inventory management principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong documentation and presentation skills.
- Experience in supporting and delivering projects within a fast-paced environment.
Desired Skills :
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
- Experience in supporting global implementations.
- Oracle SCM certifications
