Senior Backend Developer - Javascript/TypeScript (4-8 yrs)

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with other Software Engineers and Data Scientists to deliver high-quality code and perform code reviews

- Partner with the Client Engineering team to define, deliver and implement new features to our backend services and platform

- Support and triage production incidents in real time

- Establish and reinforce engineering best practices

- Improve team efficiency and productivity by advising on process improvement ideas

ESSENTIAL SKILLS :

- JavaScript/TypeScript

- Node.js

- PostgreSQL

- Git

- AWS

- Jest, Postman

- CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Jenkins

- Service Oriented Architecture - REST/Swagger/OpenAPI

Skills :

- Hands-on coding experience in Javascript/Typescript

- Experience with deploying to cloud ecosystems, preferably AWS

- Experience designing API's adhering to REST principles

- Backend service engineering experience in a production environment - maintaining releases, CI/CD pipelines, Dockerimages

- Experience with Linux scripting
