Job Description

This role is responsible for executing forecasting tools and scenario planning and making strategies and actions plan to achieve production plan together with Local functional leaders (i.e. Innovation, Operations, Finance, HR, IT and Supply Chain) to achieve overall organizations objectives. In addition, this role would have to liaise with Multi-discipline team including support functions, to delight our Internal and External stakeholders.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
:
Other duties may be assigned beyond the core functions listed below.
The responsibilities of the role are to implement the required action plan, manage inventory management activities to support efforts to achieve productivity. The role shall carry out tactical activities to have inventory in stock
The assigned territories include Fluid Power businesses in India. The specific responsibilities will fall into three primary areas:
Maximum 3 pointers per accountability
Accountability #1: Customer (Internal / External Stakeholders)
  • Liaising with other engineers to develop plans that improve production, costs, and labor required.
  • Scheduling meetings with relevant departments and stakeholders, support in customer audits.
  • Adherence of Production Plan as per S&OP team and deliver to Logistic deparment after completion of all quality process for final dispatch to customer.
  • Production: Ensure daily line output while ensuring proper resource allocation, Manpower, equipment maintenance, and inventory management.

Accountability #2: Process / Performance
  • Supervising the manufacturing processes, ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient manner
  • Establishing safety procedures and protocols that take the workers well-being into account, and that also minimize the carbon footprint.
  • Maintaining daily production activity in logbook and good communication with supervisor and manager.
  • Process Improvements & Standardization: Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for concerned manufacturing processes to ensure good speed, consistency and compliance with industry standards.
Accountability #3: People:
  • The position is expected to conform to all posted HSE requirements to be within the manufacturing work area.
  • Diagnosing problems in the production line and providing recommendations and training.
  • Keeping abreast of advancements in engineering and production, and sharing knowledge with co-workers.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: The incumbent reports Manager - S&OP & operate in individual contributor capacity.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS/ QUALIFICATIONS & PREFERRED SKILLS :
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
This person must have at least 3 years hands on experience in and understanding of ERP/MRP systems and their use in a manufacturing environment in the assigned countries or region.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years, proven track record in and understanding of ERP/MRP systems Operations and their use in a manufacturing environment
  • Bachelors degree in engineering or Diploma Mechanical other related discipline, post-Graduation in Management will be favorable.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Working knowledge and understanding of ERP/MRP systems and their use in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Ability to demonstrate solid written and oral communication skills.
  • Good Planning and Organizing Capabilities.
  • Leadership & Innovative Skills
  • Effective Time and Resource Management Skills.
  • Excellent problem solving and statistical analysis skills.
  • Proven ability in multitasking and prioritizing workload
