Manager / Deputy Manager - Purchase (CAPEX & OPEX) -Vadodara

We are looking for a highly skilled Manager / Deputy Manager (CAPEX & OPEX) to join our team in Vadodara. The ideal candidate will have 10 to 15 years of experience in procurement and purchasing within the pharmaceutical industry.

This role demands strong negotiation skills, vendor management expertise, and the ability to collaborate across departments to ensure seamless procurement operations. The candidate will be responsible for handling CAPEX (Imported & Indigenous Equipment), OPEX, and project-related procurement, ensuring timely supply, managing purchase orders, and maintaining procurement-related reports.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Handle procurement of CAPEX (Imported and Indigenous Equipment), OPEX, and project-related items..
• Coordinate with User & Store departments to ensure smooth procurement processes.
• Collect quotations from various vendors, negotiate pricing and terms, and prepare cost benchmarking reports.
• Ensure timely material supply (tools, instruments, equipment) as per project timelines.
• Manage interactions with the Finance & Accounts team for vendor payments and with stores for material receipts.
• Handle rejected materials by coordinating with the Quality Control department and vendors.
• Prepare and execute purchase orders, ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
• Maintain MIS reports related to pending PRs, deliveries, and invoices.
• Ensure accurate procurement data management and reporting.

Preferred candidate profile

• 10 to 15 years of experience in Procurement/Purchasing within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong understanding of CAPEX, OPEX, project procurement, and supply chain management.
• Proficiency in SAP, MS Office, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to independently handle procurement activities.
