Executive / Sr. Executive || OPEX Purchase - Vadodara

We are looking for a highly skilled Executive / Senior Executive Procurement (OPEX) to join our team in Vadodara. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in purchasing operational expenditure (OPEX) items within the pharmaceutical industry.

This role requires strong negotiation skills, vendor management expertise, and the ability to coordinate effectively across departments to ensure seamless procurement operations.

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Manage the procurement of OPEX-related items, ensuring cost efficiency and timely supply.
• Collaborate with project technical teams to review the scope of supply/work, validate performance parameters, and address gaps in offers.
• Collect quotations, negotiate pricing and terms, and benchmark costs for materials.
• Prepare, execute, and oversee purchase orders while ensuring vendor communication.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials, tools, and instruments in line with business requirements.
• Maintain reports on pending PRs, deliveries, invoices, and other procurement activities.
• Address material rejections by coordinating with Quality Control and vendors for resolution.
  Maintain procurement records and ensure clear documentation of purchase transactions.
• Work closely with User, Store, Finance & Accounts departments for seamless procurement and payment processing.

Preferred Candidate :

• 5 to 10 years in procurement (Mandatory experience in the Pharmaceutical industry)
• B.E, B.Tech, MBA (Mechanical, Electrical, Any relevant degree in Supply Chain, Procurement)
• Strong proficiency in SAP, MS Office, and Outlook.
• Excellent negotiation, communication (oral & written), and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to handle procurement activities independently.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
