Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Customer Support:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing timely assistance in Telugu and Kannada.
    • Address inquiries regarding dhotis and shirts, including product details, pricing, availability, and shipping.
    • Resolve customer issues or complaints in a professional and efficient manner to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

Product Knowledge:

    • Develop a deep understanding of the dhoti and shirt collections to effectively guide and advise customers.
    • Provide product recommendations and offer insights on the unique features and benefits of dhoties and shirts.

Customer Relationship Building:

    • Foster long-term relationships with customers by maintaining consistent follow-ups and personalized communication.
    • Engage with customers regularly through various channels (phone, email, chat, social media) to ensure satisfaction and promote repeat business.
    • Encourage customers to provide feedback, reviews, and testimonials to help improve customer experience.

Promotions & Upselling:

    • Assist in promoting ongoing sales, offers, and new product launches to customers.
    • Upsell and cross-sell dhoties and shirts based on customer needs and preferences.

Order Management & Support:

    • Assist customers with order placement, tracking, and resolution of any order-related concerns.
    • Monitor customer orders to ensure timely delivery and address any shipping issues promptly.

Market Insights & Feedback:

    • Gather and report customer feedback on dhoties and shirts, including preferences and suggestions for product improvement.
    • Communicate insights and market trends back to the marketing and product teams for strategic decision-making.

Customer Retention:

    • Implement strategies to retain existing customers, such as loyalty programs or personalized offers.
    • Ensure that customers have a positive experience from pre-purchase to post-purchase, enhancing brand loyalty.

Collaboration:

    • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align on promotional activities, customer needs, and product updates.
    • Coordinate with other departments to resolve customer issues or concerns promptly.

Preferred candidate profile


  • Fluency in Telugu and Kannada (both written and spoken) is essential.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in customer service or relationship management, preferably in the fashion or retail industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Knowledge of dhoties, shirts, and the fashion industry is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer queries and issues effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate across departments.
