Piping Lead Material Engineer

• Min Qualification: B.E./B.Tech

• Experience: 8+ years of experience in reputed engineering company dealing in Chemical / Petrochemical / Refinery / Offshore Oil and Gas Industry.

Candidate shall have demonstrated capabilities in following areas:

• Conversant with international codes & standards such as ASTM, API, ASME
• Check and review bid documents
• Preparation & checking of Piping Material Specification
• Preparation & checking of datasheets for Valves & Special Parts
• Perform calculations for pipe wall thickness, branch reinforcement, vacuum, specialty line blanks, etc.
• Prepare technical supply documents for piping items including valves
• Prepare Piping Material Requisitions
• Technical evaluation of vendor offers & prepare technical bid analysis reports for piping valves & special parts
• Check and review vendor documents & drawings for piping valves & special parts
• Coordinate with clients, vendors and other discipline engineers
• Estimation of Insulation & Painting Bill of Material
• Preparation of Piping MTO & Inch Dia / Inch Metre reports
• Experience with ERM will be an added advantage
