Lead Engineer-Concept Studies

Job Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

• Responsible for leading conceptual studies, feasibility studies, Decarbonization Roadmap studies and consultancy level activities in areas related to Oil & Gas, Hydrogen, CCUS and Energy transition.
• Deliver value to Customers by identifying various options and selecting the optimum facilities concepts.
• Perform economic analysis and lifecycle Cost analysis.
• Leading and working with integrated teams from various locations.
• Lead various Workshops during the Concept Stage.
• Finding innovative and cost-effective engineering solutions
• Contribute to the development of methodology, tools, and competency within the Department considering the present and future needs of energy transition.
• Support strategic business opportunities
• Ensure work is carried out in accordance with the Company Quality and HSE requirements and policies.
• Take responsibility and ownership of the concept study deliverables. Ensure timely delivery in a quality manner.
• Execute studies in accordance with industry leading project execution model.

Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech in Chemical Engineering

Skill / Experience Requirements:

• 12 years of Process Engineering experience in Oil and Gas, Hydrogen, Ammonia and CCUS Projects.
• 8 years of experience in reputed engineering consultancies. Broad competency within process system design and should have adequate experience in all relevant process engineering activities such as Process Design Basis, Process Simulation, Heat & Material balance, Equipment sizing, PFDs, P&IDs, Equipment and Instrument Process Datasheets, Hydraulic calculations, Relief valve and Flare header sizing.
• 4 years of experience in a lead engineer role. Should have been a lead for at least 2 Concept / Feasibility Studies
• In-depth and hands on knowledge of process engineering software such as HYSYS and Pipesim. Must be capable of developing simulation models independently.
• Experience in Licensor evaluation and selection.
• Excellent Study planning and execution skills.
• Knowledge of industry standards and local regulations.
• Positive attitude with excellent interpersonal, people development, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Excellent report writing skills.
