Key Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Maintain records of business costs, such as labor and material
• Check invoices for inaccuracies
• Reconcile accounts with the general ledger
• Handle general account queries
• Software Expertise: Utilize Xero, QuickBooks, and other financial tools to maintain accounts and financial records efficiently.
• Client Communication: Communicate with clients regularly to gather financial data, discuss discrepancies, and provide them with relevant financial insights.
• Audit Support: Assist in preparing documentation and financial records for external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Process Improvement: Suggest improvements in accounting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping roles, especially in the UK markets.
• Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Additional qualifications like CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
• Software Expertise: Proficiency in Xero, Book Keeping and QuickBooks is mandatory. Experience
• With other accounting tools like Sage, FreshBooks, or Zoho Books is an added advantage.
• International Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted
• Accounting Principles), IFRS, and tax regulations in the UK.

• Preferred Qualifications:
• Certifications: Certification in Xero and QuickBooks is highly preferred.
• Multinational Experience: Experience in working with clients in different time zones and regions UK.
• Tax Knowledge: Detailed knowledge of VAT (UK) sales tax is highly desirable.
