Job Summary:
- The Assistant Manager - OEM will be responsible for supporting the OEM sales strategy, managing existing OEM accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring smooth collaboration between our company and OEM partners.
- This role requires a proactive approach, strong analytical skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
Responsibilities:
Account Management: Manage and nurture relationships with existing OEM partners, ensuring customer satisfaction and maximizing sales opportunities.
Sales Growth: Drive sales growth within the OEM channel by identifying new business opportunities, developing sales strategies, and achieving targets.
New Business Development: Identify and onboard new OEM partners, expanding our reach and market share.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g., sales, marketing, engineering, product development) to ensure seamless execution of OEM programs.
Forecasting and Planning: Develop sales forecasts and plans for the OEM channel, ensuring accurate projections and resource allocation.
Contract Negotiation: Support the negotiation and management of OEM contracts, ensuring favorable terms and compliance.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges within the OEM landscape.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on OEM sales performance, market trends, and other key metrics.
Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise with OEM partners, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at OEM partner organizations.
Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our products and services, effectively communicating their value proposition to OEM partners.
Travel: May require travel to visit OEM partners or attend industry events.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in OEM sales or account management.
- Strong understanding of the OEM business model and sales process.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus
