Asahi India Glass - Assistant Tax Manager (7-12 yrs)

Key Responsibilities:

Tax Compliance & Filings:

- Oversee the preparation and submission of all direct and indirect tax returns, including:

- Income Tax

- GST (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, ITC-04, and other statutory filings)

- TDS/TCS compliance

- Annual and other regulatory tax filings.

- Ensure timely payment of taxes and maintain compliance with statutory deadlines.

- Review tax payments and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.

Audit & Assessment Management:

- Manage tax audits and inspections, ensuring accurate and timely submission of data and documentation.

- Handle assessments and adjudications, including preparation and filing of replies to tax notices, show-cause notices, and other inquiries.

- Collaborate with auditors and regulatory authorities to address queries and finalize reports.

Tax Strategy & Advisory:

- Assist in formulating tax strategies to optimize tax liabilities while ensuring full compliance with the law.

- Provide advice on the tax implications of business operations and transactions.

- Stay updated on tax regulations, analyze changes in tax laws, and recommend necessary adjustments to the organization's practices.
