Finance Role with Shanghvi Finance(Sun Pharma Family Office)

Position: Executive/Manager Finance

About us:

Sun Pharma is the largest pharma company in India and 4 th largest in the world. It

specializes in multiple therapeutic areas and operates in more than 50 countries. The

company was promoted by Mr. Dilip Shanghvi.

The job is the area of financial reporting including consolidated financial statements,

coordination with auditors and finalization of accounts in the family office (Promotor

entities) of Sun Pharma Group. The family office comprises of several companies, few

of them have active businesses like oil and gas, real estate, software development in

healthcare sector etc. Besides this, there are couple of NBFC companies in the family

office and a section 8 company which is engaged in charitable activities e.g. building

schools, hospitals and providing support to underprivileged.

Role:

The position will be in the main company of family office, namely Shanghvi

Finance Private Limited however the job will entail working for the entire family office

entities as may be required from time to time.

Designation: Executive / Manager Finance

Key Responsibilities:

i. Preparation of financial statements as required under Companies Act and ass

per Ind AS for family office entities and for individuals (Promotors).

ii. Assisting in preparation of Consolidated financial statements including working of

Goodwill and Minority Interest.

iii. Calculation of Fair valuation workings as required under Ind AS

iv. Coordination with Auditors including internal auditors and complete audits on

timely manner.

v. Assisting in preparation of Tax Audit reports

vi. Review of accounting process including payment to vendors

vii. Ensuring timely closure of Accounts and review of ledger balances

viii. Assisting in preparation of monthly & quarterly RBI returns as and when

necessary.

Qualification:

Chartered Accountant

Experience Criteria:

0-3 years experience.

Key Skills Required:

• Fair knowledge of Ind AS accounting standards and procedures

• Advanced computer database, Microsoft Office

• Experience on Accounting in Tally

• Knowledge of GST and TDS

Location: Goregaon, Mumbai

Working: 5 days a week.
