NowPurchase is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Internal Auditor to evaluate and improve financial and operational controls, ensuring compliance and cost efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of risk assessment, financial auditing, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify inefficiencies and recommend practical solutions to enhance operations.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company policies.
• Provide insights to management on potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Validate internal reports and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify financial, operational, and compliance risks, focusing on cost control and efficiency.
• Establish and enforce robust controls to streamline working capital and ensure alignment with profit and loss targets.
• Monitor expenses against budgets and historical data, flagging any discrepancies or deviations for corrective action.
• Audit financial records, procurement, inventory, and operational processes to prevent cost leakages and inefficiencies.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize costs and recover lost value, transforming the audit function into a profit center.
• Ensure compliance with Indian regulatory frameworks (e.g., Companies Act, GST, Income Tax Act) and manage timely statutory filings.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management, focusing on profitability enhancement and risk mitigation.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and track the implementation of recommendations for sustained improvement.
• Collaborate with departments to promote financial discipline, transparency, and adherence to internal controls.
• Conduct training sessions to build awareness about compliance, cost optimization, and financial accountability.
