Human Resource Business Partner - IT

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will serve as a strategic partner to the IT leadership team and employees, providing proactive HR support and guidance. This role will focus on aligning HR strategies with the departments business objectives, fostering a positive work environment, and driving employee engagement and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior leaders to understand business goals and objectives and

develop HR strategies and solutions to support these goals.

• Act as a strategic partner to the departments leadership team, providing HR guidance on key initiatives related to organizational development, talent management, succession planning, and workforce planning.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to identify and attract top-tier talent in alignment with the companys technical needs.
• Develop strategies to retain top talent and improve employee engagement.
• Support the development of career paths, skill-building programs, and continuous learning initiatives tailored to the needs of employees.
• Work with managers to address performance issues proactively and create development plans for employees to meet business needs.
• Address employee concerns, conduct investigations, and resolve workplace issues in a timely, fair, and confidential manner.
• Partner with leadership to design and implement employee engagement strategies and initiatives that are aligned with the department's needs and objectives.
• Ensure that HR policies and procedures are followed within department, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards.
• Monitor adherence to labour laws, company policies, and best practices to ensure a positive and compliant working environment.
• Utilize HR metrics and data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to leadership on employee satisfaction, retention, and other key people metrics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in an HRBP role.
• Proven experience in talent management, performance management, employee relations, and organizational development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
