Tender Manager - Mumbai

Role & responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and respond to tender opportunities in public and private sectors.
• Manage the end-to-end tender process, ensuring compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
• Work with sales, legal, finance, and technical teams to gather proposal inputs.
• Liaise with clients, vendors, and consultants for tender-related queries.
• Develop, compile, and review tender documents, including technical and financial proposals.
• Prepare cost estimations, risk assessments, and delivery timelines.
• Ensure timely submission and maintain bid activity records.
• Assess risks and ensure compliance with policies and industry standards.
• Track industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities.
• Analyze feedback to improve future bids.
• Maintain a comprehensive tender database and provide updates to management.
• Upload and manage products on GeM and other tender portals.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proven experience in tender management, key account management, or sales within the medical devices industry.
• Bachelors degree in Biochemistry/Chemistry/Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast- paced environment.
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
