Job Description
- Design, implement, and manage the company s network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VLAN and WLAN.
- Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Monitor network performance and security to ensure optimal operation and compliance with industry standards.
- Identify and resolve network issues, including troubleshooting connectivity, latency, and bandwidth problems.
- Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions that meet business requirements.
- Evaluate new network technologies and make recommendations for network improvements and upgrades.
- Provide technical support to end-users, including resolving network-related issues and assisting with network configuration.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to network emergencies outside of regular business hours as needed.
- Management of ESXI servers and Virtualization.
- Management of ESXI snapshots backup, restoration allocation of resources, Network and management of resources.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role, with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and QoS.
- Hands-on experience with network equipment from vendors such as Cisco,Sophos,Fortinet etc.
- Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools, such as Wireshark, Nagios, SolarWinds, or PRTG.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex network issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, VMWare, or equivalent are preferred.
- Hands-on experience with VMWare and Virtualization
- Experience with cloud networking technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
