Role & responsibilities
Financial Transactions:
Record and reconcile day-to-day financial transactions, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, Voucher preparation. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data entries.
Financial Reporting:
Assist in the preparation of project financial statements, reports, and analysis on a regular basis.
Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing relevant financial information and analysis. Monitor budget variances and assist in identifying areas of improvement.
Compliance and Taxation: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations. Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, as necessary. Knowledge of FCRA will be an advantage.
Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain project wise financial records, files, and documentation.
Ensure adherence to internal control procedures and financial policies.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes and strategic initiatives.
Identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement based on financial data analysis.
Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Finance, Operations, and Projects.
Preferred candidate profile
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Must have experience in the field. Working experience of NGO will be preferred.
