Qualification: CA/MBA

Total Exp : 10 to 18 Years (Preferred Exposure in construction company)

Location : Andheri (West), Mumbai

Brief Job Description

• Manage Insurance Program for the following policies with proficient knowledge:

a. Project CAR policy

b. Professional Indemnity Policy

c. Deceneial Liability Policy

d. CPM Policy

e. Special Contingency Policy

f. TPL & CGL Policy

g. All employee policy Mediclaim, Term Insurance, Accidental coverage, WC Policy, etc

• Critically evaluating the contract clauses and thereafter estimation of Insurance cost for tendering purposes and negotiation w.r.t. Insurance related contract clause, if required.
• Address internal queries (Review deviation requests and advise on provisions in contracts, assess and analyze needs across multiple functions, etc.)
• Analyze and understand all policies, insurable risks, and potential risk mitigation opportunities. Interacts with teams to ensure coordination between project activities, exposures, and appropriate insurance coverage
• Works with client/owner insurance representatives to ensure proper placement and coordination of any project specific insurance policies.
• Coordinate policy renewal (Collect and validate values, review policy design and work actively with internal stakeholders and insurer/broker to meet deliverables)
• Maintain & Develop relationships with insurers (Proactive discussions and meetings, site visits, etc.)
• Oversee claims (Act as primary contact for claims matters; manage day to day claims from incident through to final settlement)
• Attend claims meetings with surveyors, brokers, consultants and project team.
• Manage team and work closely for timely updation / maintaining insurance records and monitor costs (Prepare insurance budgets, define cost allocations, prepare monthly accruals, and track premium billing
