Job Role and Responsibilities:
1. Lead Assessment:
- Evaluate inbound leads from various sources such as website forms, email campaigns, social media, and events.
- Assess the quality and potential of outbound leads generated through cold calls, emails, and other outreach efforts.
2. Lead Qualification:
- Use established criteria and scoring systems to determine the readiness of leads for sales engagement.
- Identify key information about leads, including their requirement, challenges, budget, decision-making authority, and timeline as per the lead qualification form.
3. Communication:
- Initiate contact with leads via phone, email, or other communication channels to gather more information and assess their interest.
- Respond to inquiries and provide information about the company s products or services.
4. Data Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions with leads in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Track and report on lead qualification metrics and performance.
5. Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to provide feedback on lead quality and the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
6. Process Improvement:
- Continuously refine lead qualification processes and criteria based on feedback and performance data.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in lead qualification and sales enablement.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with leads and collaborating with team members.
2. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data and metrics to assess lead quality and campaign performance.
3. CRM Proficiency: Experience with CRM software (Zoho) to manage and track leads.
4. Sales Acumen: Understanding of the sales process and the ability to identify and qualify potential sales opportunities.
5. Customer Focus: Strong customer service skills and the ability to understand and address customer needs.
6. Time Management: Effective organizational and time management skills to handle multiple leads and tasks simultaneously.
7. Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust strategies and approaches based on changing priorities and feedback.
8. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions to improve lead qualification processes.
Educational Background and Experience:
Education: A bachelor s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is often preferred.
Experience: Prior experience in sales, marketing, customer service, or a related role can be beneficial. Experience with lead generation, telemarketing, or inside sales is a plus.
