Job Title Lead Engineer - Process

Overall Functional Scope : Involve in development of process development engineering function, conceptualizing and day-to-day different part processing, delivering manufacturable processes to agreed specifications within time and budget constraints.

Reporting To Functional Head

Responsibilities

• Develop Manufacturing Engineering processes to meet agreed organizational
performance plans.
• Execute process of manufacturing.
• Selection of latest cutting tools and use right parameters.
• Good decision-making capabilities in preparation of process in Consultation with
higher ups.
• Involvement in cross functional department like tooling, production,
• SCM and quality in processing parts.
• Co-ordination with SCM for product processing and fixtures procurement.
• Helping SCM in developing the vendors for outsourcing activities.
• Understand new parts and develop sequential machining process for
better results in first go.
• Hands on experience in developing new processes in the areas of Lapping,
Tumbling, Polishing, and Blasting
• Involve in meeting QMS requirements by ensuring documents in line with QMS
requirements.
• Generate process documents using NX and AutoCAD.
• Ability to interpret GD&T from model-based definition and legacy drawings.
• Ability to define best machining strategy & sequence.
• Ability to read and understand specification & standards.
• Hands on experience to process engineering, qualification of equipment and
documentation of process parameters

Skill Sets S/W Skills: CAD/CAM, NX and MS-Office

Indicative Years of Experience: 5-10 Years

Educational Background: BE with 5-8 years of experience OR Diploma with 8-10 years of experience
