Mechanical Engineer/Designer Eligibility Criteria:Years of Experience:4-6 Educational qualification:

Mechanical Engineering (BE) Location:Chennai Important Note: we are looking for candidates with good experience in UGNX and 3D Cad Modeling, Assembly, and Detailing using Unigraphics-NX is Mandate. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support medium complex engineering drawing and documentation.
  • Incorporate design changes to address manufacturing and performance issues - systematic problem solving (Pugh/ PSDM/ equivalent).
  • Concurrent support to Mechanical design projects from concept to build verify and qualification.
  • Support Problem Reports / Supplier Build issues.
  • Process Engineering Change Requests (DDC/ECR) through PLMs.
    • Mandatory Skills required to performing the job:
  • Proficient in reading, understanding, and creating Mechanical Drawings & Specifications
  • Proficiency in applying Engineering basics and Design/Documentation Standards
  • Knowledge of Sheet metal manufacturing & machining - Enclosures etc.
  • Selection of different type of hardwares.
  • Proficient in GD & T & Basic understanding of Tolerance stack up.
  • Proficient in 3D Cad Modeling, Assembly, and Detailing using Unigraphics-NX
  • Excellent oral & written communication and Presentation skills
  • Basic understanding of thermal and structural management
    • Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with documentation standards and Engineering Change Order processes
  • Experience with any PDM and PLM
  • Nx 3D electrical routing tool experience.
  • Engineering quality tools (DFSS, DFMEA, and 8D Problem Solving, etc.)
  • Proficient in use of MS Office Tools
