Job Description
Detailed JD *(Roles and Responsibilities::
- Should have a strong understanding of ETL principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Collaborate with Stakeholders and Offshore team to deliver ETL support projects in Agile SDLC model
- Deliver though leadership, adoption of new technologies and integrate best practices into ETL Support engagements
- Monitor the ETL system to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues or errors that occur during the ETL process.
- Investigate data inconsistencies, debug ETL jobs, and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with data engineers, database administrators, and business analysts to understand user requirements and provide technical assistance.
- Validate data transformations, perform data profiling, and implement data cleansing and validation rules to ensure data integrity and quality.
- Optimize ETL workflows, SQL queries, and data extraction/transformation processes to improve system performance.
- Generate regular reports on system performance, data quality, and error analysis for management and stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation of ETL processes, job configurations, and system specifications.
- Participate in incident management, promptly responding to and resolving ETL-related incidents.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in ETL and data integrationMandate skills ::
- Talent should have sound knowledge in ETL Process and UNIX skill set to work on the requirements provided. Should be able to work on client facing environment. Solid understanding of relational databases and data modeling. Able to work on ETL tools Informatica, Talend, or DataStage, Service Now.
Talent should have
- Proven experience in ETL support or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of ETL principles, data integration, and data warehousing concepts.
- Proficient in SQL and scripting languages for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or DataStage.
- Solid understanding of relational databases and data modeling.
- Familiarity with data quality management and data governance practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proactive attitude and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
