Sr. Lead FPGA Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Lead FPGA Engineer with a deep understanding of Verilog and SystemVerilog, as well as extensive experience in embedded systems design.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of cutting-edge technologies using FPGA devices and will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to the highest possible standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and implementation of FPGA-based systems using Verilog/SystemVerilog

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered
on time and to the highest possible standard

Develop and execute verification plans to ensure that designs meet functional
and performance requirements

Debug and resolve complex design and implementation issues

Define and improve design and verification methodologies and processes

Mentor and train junior FPGA engineers as needed

Stay up-to-date with the latest FPGA development tools and methodologies

Communicate effectively with management, customers, and team members

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field

8+ years of experience in FPGA development

Expert-level knowledge of Verilog/SystemVerilog

Strong understanding of embedded systems design

Experience with Xilinx and/or Altera FPGA development tools

Proven ability to lead a team and deliver high-quality results on time

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field

Experience with high-speed communication protocols such as PCIe and Ethernet

Experience with DSP algorithms and implementation

Familiarity with scripting languages such as TCL
