Job Title
Purchase Manager / Assistant Manager - Direct & OpEx Material.

Responsibilities
Responsible for strategically sourcing and procuring direct materials essential for
manufacturing operations while ensuring optimal cost, quality, and delivery
performance.
1. Strategic Procurement :
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and
technical capabilities
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships
2. Supply Chain Management
- Monitor and maintain material requirements planning (MRP)
- Track supplier performance metrics (KPIs)
- Coordinate with production planning to ensure material availability
3. Cost Management
- Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities
- Manage annual cost savings targets
4. Quality Assurance
- Collaborate with quality department to ensure supplier compliance
- Monitor and address quality issues with suppliers
5. Systems and Documentation
- Generate and analyze procurement reports
- Create and update purchase orders
- Maintain technical specifications and supplier agreements
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Experience with contract negotiations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Educational Background
Any branch of Engineering / Diploma preferred /Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain,
Business, or related field
