Overall Functional Scope- We are looking for an Engineer to monitor the Trace application uptime and IPC system, He will diagnose and troubleshoot software/hardware and network IT problems. Required Training will be provided

Responsibilities

Network and helpdesk Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve network issues, including connectivity problems, network latency, and link outages.
• Ability to configure and manage Layer 2 network devices, including switches, Wireless Access points, IP Phones, and basic Firewall.
• Provide technical support to end-users and assist with network-related problems and inquiries.
• Familiarity with Helpdesk tool to log and close the tickets on timely manner.
• Create, manage, and troubleshoot Virtual LANs (VLANs) to segregate network traffic effectively.
• Configure VLAN trunking and tagging on switches as needed.
• Diagnose and resolve network issues, including connectivity problems and loop detection.
• Certification in network technologies, such as CCNA or equivalent.
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve complex network problems or outage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Talk clients through a series of actions, either via phone, email, or chat, until they’ve solved a technical issue.
• Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams
• Provide prompt and accurate feedback to end users.
• Refer to internal database or external resources to provide accurate tech solutions.
• Ensure all issues are properly logged through helpdesk tool.
• Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time.
• Follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting.
• Follow up with vendors or service provider related any software or hardware issues.
• Prepare accurate and timely reports.
• Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals
• Maintain jovial relationships with end users and Vendors!

Experience- Min 2 years

Educational Background-BE or Diploma in C. Sc, E&C, or Any degree for 2 years

experience.
