Senior Manager Software Developer

Role & responsibilities

1. Team Management

• Build, lead and manage the team
• Conduct trainings for team on latest tools & technologies as & when needed
• Develop skills to expedite the design and enable the team to achieve success.
• Build culture for continuous improvement

2. Planning

• Ensure work planning and allocation withing the team
• Conduct resource estimation and allocation among team members
• Prepare and execute tools / equipment implementation roadmap based on product /technology trends.
• From Software point of view: Customer and eProducts feature mapping, gap analysis and develop plan for new products to bridge the identified product gaps.

3. Collaborate with product team for the new product requirements and advance development.

4 Support to Identify / Evaluate JV / TA Partners

• Technical evaluation of JV / TA partner before the agreement
• Participate / drive make or buy decisions for technologies.

5. Execution

• Interact with customers for understanding requirements and discussions during the development process
• Build internal capability on developing Software for motor controller and allied products.
• Incubate: Make POC to validate idea and design of new product in Electrical Vertical. Work with cross-functional teams to work on business processes from POC to Delivery. Define technical architectures
• Guide the team on embedded development, C, C++, MATLAB, AutoSAR, Functional Safety, and other technologies.
• Implement modular product structure
• Provide design input to CFT team at RFQ and pre RFQ stage to get right costing.
• Support / lead product issues resolutions
• Implement a systematic approach in product design and development
• Identify and implement VAVE idea.
• Translate and present technical concepts in practical business value.
• Make new project proposals
• Oversee product validation processes, focusing on durability and reliability.

3. Engineering Standards Development

• Create IP and continually update engineering standards for the new and existing products.

Develop and implement modular approach

Nature Of Experience

1. Must have excellent understanding of Software product development [Full Stack development] Software development with latest technologies preferably in Automotive domain.

2. Capable of translating and presenting technical concepts in practical business value to stakeholders.

3. Hands on experience of coding using any of programming language like C, C++, MATLAB, Python, AutoSAR etc. Experience of few product development cycles.

Knowledge of in Software, Embedded Electronics and Motor products in Automotive and Industrial domain.

4. Hands on experience in AutoSAR, different communications CAN/LIN/PWM, Microcontrollers and interfacing systems.

5. Excellent knowledge of most of the new technologies in Cybersecurity, FOTA, Bootloader, UDS, Functional Safety in Automotive areas. Should have good understanding and hands on experience on technologies on Controllers, Motors, IOT, wireless interfaces, Sensors etc.

6. Must have good understanding or some experience on vehicle architecture, EV feature set, ECU/VCU, Motor Control, BMS, Chargers, DC-DC and experience on vehicle Electrification domain.

7. Must have good understanding on electronic hardware and software integrations,

8. Should understand schematics, hardware software integration requirements to drive the development activities.

Awareness of most of the new technologies and hands on experience on technologies on IOT, wireless interfaces, Sensors, controller etc.

Work location : Chakan -R&D Center

Working days : 5 days work from office ( Monday to Friday)
