Software Engineer - Web Apps (8-13 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Lead the architectural design and development of Power BI Embedded analytics and web applications, ensuring dedication, scalability, and reliability.

- Collaborate with multi-functional teams (including developers, designers, and customers) to define technical requirements and system architectures.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams on best practices, coding standards, and architectural patterns.

- Evaluate and recommend frameworks, and tools to support Power BI Embedded analytics and web application development and improvement.

- Design and implement solutions for integrating various systems and services within the web architecture.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards and quality metrics.

- Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization of Power BI Embedded analytics and web applications.

- Ensure security measures are implemented and maintained throughout the mashup architecture.

- Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in web development and architecture.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

- 7+ years of experience as a Web Architect, Lead Developer, or similar role in web application development.

- 2+ years of experience with Qlik Mashups or Power BI Embedded Analytics.

- Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript (including frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js ), and RESTful APIs.

- Experience with server-side languages and frameworks (e. g., Node.js, DOTNET, Java, Python).

- Proficiency in database technologies (SQL and NoSQL databases), ETL processes, and data modeling.

- Solid understanding of cloud platforms (e. g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (e. g., Docker).

- Familiarity with web security standards and standard processes (OWASP principles).

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with good attention to detail.

- Effective communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical partners.

- Team collaboration skills to encourage and guide development teams.
