Application Lead (8-13 yrs)

We're looking for a talented Principal Engineer to lead our app development team and drive the design, development, and deployment of high-performance web and mobile applications. You'll be responsible for guiding a team of developers while leveraging modern tech stacks, microservices, and cloud infrastructure. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll mentor the team, ensure high-quality code, and innovate for scalability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Technical Leadership : Lead and mentor a team of developers throughout the application lifecycle, ensuring quality, collaboration, and innovation.

- System Design & Architecture : Design scalable, secure app architectures using microservices, caching, and performance optimization techniques.

- Backend/API Development : Oversee backend development, focusing on building robust RESTful APIs and GraphQL solutions.

- Microservices & Cloud : Implement and manage microservices architecture, deploying apps on cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.

- Security & Compliance : Apply industry-standard security protocols (e.g., SSL/TLS, OAuth) to meet compliance and ensure secure data handling.

- Process Improvement : Establish and manage efficient development workflows, including CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and task tracking.

- Documentation & Standards : Maintain clear documentation for architecture, processes, and code standards to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; advanced degree is a plus.

- Experience : 8+ years in app development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Technical Skills :

- Frontend : Proficiency in ReactJS, NodeJS, Vue.js, Angular, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Redux, GraphQL.

- Mobile : Experience with React Native or Flutter for cross-platform apps.

- Backend : Expertise in RESTful API and microservices, familiarity with NoSQL (MongoDB) and relational DBs (MySQL/PostgreSQL).

- Cloud : Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless architectures.

- DevOps : Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and tools like Jira for project management.

- Leadership : Strong mentorship and collaboration skills with a proven ability to lead teams and drive technical excellence.
