Node Js Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable server-side applications using Node.js.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Design and implement APIs for web and mobile applications.
• Work with databases (SQL and NoSQL) to store, retrieve, and manipulate data.
• Troubleshoot and debug server-side issues and improve application performance.
• Ensure security and data protection in all applications.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality standards.

Preferred candidate profile

• Any graduate can apply; candidates with degrees in Computer Science, IT, or related fields are preferred.
• At least two years of experience with a strong knowledge of Node.js and related technologies.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and knowledge of ES6+ features.
• Familiarity with Node.js frameworks such as Express.js or NestJS.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and React/Angular is a plus.
• Experience working with databases like MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
• Understanding of security best practices and performance optimization.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
