Job Description

Designation : Asst. Manager Business Development & Project Coordinator

Job-Overview
The Asst. Manager Business Development & Project Coordinator is a key position who will be responsible for driving customer relations with government clients within & outside the state of Gujarat. This position will act as a bridge between the company and external stakeholders.

  1. Business Relationships & Stakeholders Management
    • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, partners, contractors and various project stakeholders.
    • Liaisoning with key personnels at various state power distribution companies (DISCOMs).
    • Facilitate smooth communication & collaboration between the company & external stakeholders.
    • Frequent & regular customer visits.
    • Gather information related to tenders (pre & post tender publish), summarize & prepare MIS / Minutes of Meeting for Management.
  2. Business Development Support
    • To obtaining necessary approvals & statutory approvals and clearances from various departments related to project.
    • Collaborate with the business development team to develop strategies for market penetration.
    • Draft letters for submissions to government utilities / DISCOMs / Distribution companies.
    • To attend pre-bid meetings and project review meetings.

3. Project Coordination

  • Support project team in getting drawing approvals, technical clearances, submission of documents, bills and getting timely payments.
  • Monitor project timelines and milestones, identifying potential risks and proactively acting on the same.
  • Proactively identify potential issues that may impact project delivery and communicate them to relevant parties.

Requirements:

  • Preferred to have knowledge of Power Transmission & Distribution sector (HV/EHV Transmission & Distribution System, Transmission & Distribution Cabling)
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Candidate should have of experience in dealing with government clients.
  • Preferred if candidate have worked as a Contractor to GETCO, DGVCL, PGVCL, MGVCL, UGVCL, PVVNL and other State Distribution companies.
  • Strong ability to build personal rapport with stakeholders, agents/partners and customers.
  • 50-70% travel requirement.
