IT Project Manager

Role & responsibilities

• A great mentor that is responsible for leading a development team, and responsible for the quality of its technical deliverables
• Demonstrate Leadership Qualities
• Provide management and administrative support to project team and ensure program deliverables are met timely and efficiently
• Plan and communicate project direction, plan and status to the customer, project team and leadership
• Responsible for defining the project processes and best practices and also ensure compliance to the processes defined to ensure quality delivery at the right time
• Responsible for interacting with the Business Users to understand the requirements and identify the relevant epics and stories in collaboration with Business Analysts
• Participate in technical design discussions with Tech Lead, Architect and QA to ensure adequate level of detail is captured in the stories
• Responsible for working with the Technical Lead to help remove any technical roadblocks & aid in ensuring implementation continuity during the iteration
• Provide management and administrative support to project team, including recruiting support and release documentation (Service Requests, Change Requests, etc.)

Job Requirements:

• 2+ years of background with understanding or hands-on experience in product software development, web technologies or quality assurance.
• 3+ years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution, , preferably in a product company or startup environment.
• Strong project management skills with proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with Agile methodologies. 
• Strong analytical & analyst thinking Effective at acquiring an understanding of a problem or situation, and developing an approach to interacting with the situation.
• Applying standards Effective in the application of relevant industry and process standards to all tasks undertaken.
• Aggressive & target oriented with a flair for building relationships
• Excellent personal. People & communication skills
• Experience in organization wide initiatives and change management.
• Ability to make quick decisions in high pressure environments with limited information.
