Senior Legal Manager (4-6 yrs)

Key Responsibilities

Legal Advisory:

- Provide expert legal advice to senior management on corporate matters, regulatory requirements, and legal risks.

- Interpret and explain legal guidelines, standards, and regulations to internal teams.

Contract Management:

- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.

- Ensure all contractual obligations are in compliance with applicable laws and company policies.

Compliance & Risk Management:

- Oversee compliance with local, national, and international regulations relevant to the business.

- Identify potential legal risks and develop mitigation strategies.

- Manage corporate governance and ensure adherence to statutory filings and disclosures.

Dispute Resolution:

- Handle disputes, litigation, and arbitration proceedings, coordinating with external counsel when necessary.

- Manage responses to legal notices and ensure timely resolution of conflicts.

Collaboration:

- Work closely with internal teams, including HR, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment with legal requirements.

- Provide training and guidance to teams on legal and compliance matters.

What You'll Need:

Experience & Expertise:

- 4-6 years of experience in corporate law, contract management, and regulatory compliance.

- Proven experience in handling legal disputes and negotiations.

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB).

- A master's degree (LLM) or professional certifications in corporate law is preferred.

Skills:

- Strong understanding of corporate governance and regulatory frameworks.

- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

Tools & Knowledge:

- Familiarity with legal research tools and case management software.

- Knowledge of international business laws is a plus
