Job Responsibilities:

- Strategy for text and video content for company's Website and video platforms.

- Strategy for company platforms.

- Content strategy for News and original content.

- Community building and user engagement programs.

- Reach, engagement and concurrency building on video platforms.

- Platform ranking management, content hygiene and performance management.

- Network building with key personalities in news space across languages, regions and categories.

- Content creators' management.

- Relationship management with news partnership teams at Google, YouTube, Meta, Jio and other distribution and news aggregators.

- News IP creation and execution management.

- News and original content production management.

- Relationship management with news agencies such as PTI, ANI, Reuters, APTN, AFP etc.

- Internal and external stakeholders' management.

Experience:

- 15 -18 years in a senior content and editorial leadership role in digital news media organization.

- Should have handled large editorial teams comprised of beat leads, desk leads, languages editors, input and output desks, graphic design teams.

- Should have handled video desks across languages and platforms.

- Should have managed relationships with news partnership teams in big techs and aggregators.

- Understanding of SEO guidelines and content performance strategies.

- Should have led content IPs and editorial programs in the past.

- Should have a strong network of influential personalities in news space across languages.

Qualifications:

- PG in mass communication/ Journalism Professional with "15+ yrs experience in senior content and editorial leadership role in digital news media organization".

- Impeccable Command over English, Malayalam/ Kannada .

- Knowledge of other South Indian languages will be an added advantage.
