Head - Legal - Real Estate Sector (15-20 yrs)

A candidate for the position of Legal (Litigation). The incumbent should have a minimum of 15-20 Years of experience. Must have good experience working in the Real Estate sector.

Litigation

- Drafting, vetting and finalization of Litigation Pleadings Civil and Criminal, Arbitration.

- Independent handling of Litigation at various Legal forums - District Court, High Court, Supreme Court.

- Extensive briefing of and co-ordination with External Counsels handling Litigation matters at various Legal forums. Extensive experience in revenue records for telengana

- Strategizing handling of Litigation at various Legal forums.

- Settlement of issues of and Litigation.

- Drafting of Legal Notices / Reply to the Legal Notices.

- Arbitration Matters - Land, Contractors, Suppliers, Vendors, Government, Government Agencies, customers, other third parties etc.

- Good knowledge of and experience Real Estate Related laws.

- Exposure to Revenue records deptt.

Customer Litigation

- Drafting, vetting and finalization of Customer Litigation Pleadings.

- Independent handling of Customer Litigation at various Legal forums including but not limited to RERA Authority, RERA Appellate Authority, District Consumer Forums, State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, High Court, Supreme Court;

- Extensive briefing of and co-ordination with External Counsels handling Customer Litigation at various Legal forums including but not limited to RERA Authority, RERA Appellate Authority, District Consumer Forums, State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, High Court, Supreme Court;

- Strategizing handling of Customer Litigation at various Legal forums including but not limited to RERA Authority, RERA Appellate Authority, District Consumer Forums, State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, High Court, Supreme Court

- Handling of drafting of Demand Notices and reply to Demand Notices under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC),

- Drafting, vetting and finalisation of Customer Litigation Pleadings.

IBC Litigation

- Independent handling of IBC Litigation at various Legal forums including but not limited to NCLT, NCLAT, High Court, Supreme Court;

- Extensive briefing of and co-ordination with External Counsels handling IBC Litigation at various Legal forums including but not limited to NCLT, NCLAT, High Court, Supreme Court;

- Strategizing handling of IBC Litigation at various Legal forums including but not limited to NCLT, NCLAT, High Court, Supreme Court;

- Settlement of issues of Customer Litigation and other litigation;

- Drafting of Legal Notices / Reply to the Legal Notices;

Verbal and Written communication in Kannada Language is Mandatory

- Law Graduate / Master from Top Law Schools, 15+ years' experience in a renowned real estate company

- Should be abreast with the latest legal developments and rulings, especially in the real estate sector.

- Excellent communication skills - oral and written.

- Desire to make impact and high work ethics

- This role requires working directly with Leadership team

- Thorough knowledge of prevailing laws especially related to real estate/ property.

- Good drafting and negotiation skills

- Good connection in revenue records dept. will be an added advantage.
