Job Title: Legal Manager - Contracts Management

Location: Bengaluru

Reporting to: Founder and Managing Director

Role Summary:

The Legal Manager will play a crucial role in managing and negotiating legal contracts with commercial partners across Europe and Rest of World (ROW) regions. This individual will ensure all agreements align with corporate standards and regulatory requirements, providing expert legal counsel to secure favorable terms and minimize risks.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead contract negotiations with European and ROW commercial partners, fostering effective business relationships.

- Draft, review, and amend a variety of legal contracts, including vendor agreements, distribution agreements, NDAs, and service contracts.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contract terms align with organizational policies, compliance standards, and strategic goals.

- Analyze and mitigate potential legal risks in contracts, advising management on any implications for the business.

- Maintain an organized repository of contracts, tracking obligations, renewals, and terminations.

- Stay updated on regional legal regulations, standards, and trends to proactively address potential impacts on contracts.

Qualifications and Experience:

- LLB / LLM, or equivalent legal degree.

- 5+ years of experience in contracts management, with a focus on European and ROW markets.

- Proven expertise in negotiating complex commercial contracts within multinational environments.

- Strong understanding of international commercial laws, including GDPR, data privacy, and cross-border regulations.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in the pharmaceuticals industry

- Proficiency in multiple languages is an advantage.
