Manager - Legal (8-12 yrs)

Role: Manager- Legal

Reporting to: AVP Legal

Year of Experience: 8 -10 years

Location: Chennai

Responsibilities:

- Review and negotiate contractual documents like Master Services Agreement (Software Development Agreements, Testing Services, Professional Services for IT & ITES), Hosting Services Agreements, Licensing support, Hardware & Software Integration Agreements, Professional Services, RFP response and Defense, sales/supply side contracts and agreements to safeguard company's interest within a fixed turnaround time;

- Good exposure for negotiations in pressure conditions with clients;

- Review of legal risks emanating from contracts/agreements, potential project or other internal disputes, escalations and litigations matters;

- Appraise management on the key risks involved in the contracts/agreements, potential project or other internal disputes, escalations and litigations matters;

- Responsible for legal communication to external parties/clients and co-ordination with lawyers and legal consultants;

- Support activities like Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) application filing, tracking the status of the registered products & other IPR matters, due-diligence, provide HR advisory and advisory to internal department, M&A (added advantage), Contract risk review & Contract Management;

- Liaise with external firms across the geographies to support any external legal compliances, litigations and any other disputes;

- Responsible for Monthly reporting;

- Review and update the internal drafts, team mentoring, policy drafting, updates on new and/or amendments to key legislations.
