Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Presales Consultant with a strong background in software testing to lead presales efforts, manage RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and create compelling proposals. You will work closely with the sales team to design customized testing solutions, engage with clients to understand their needs, and ensure successful bid submissions. Your role will be critical in building long-term client relationships and driving strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage presales activities, including RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and the preparation of high-quality proposals and solution documents.
• Work closely with sales and delivery teams to design and present tailored testing solutions, encompassing test automation, performance testing, and QA services.
• Drive the solutioning process by crafting end-to-end strategies for various testing engagements, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
• Conduct client workshops and technical discussions to understand business needs, demonstrate value propositions, and address client queries.
• Develop winning bid strategies by aligning technical solutions with business goals and competitive positioning.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to create cost-effective and innovative solutions while ensuring feasibility and scalability.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with clients, technology vendors, and partners to enhance solution offerings.
• Monitor and analyze industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to refine presales strategies and offerings.
• Contribute to account mining efforts by identifying opportunities for expanding existing engagements.
• Prepare and deliver impactful presentations, demos, and proof of concepts (POCs) to stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Ensure all proposal documents are comprehensive, persuasive, and comply with company standards and client requirements.
• Lead post-bid discussions and contract negotiations, ensuring alignment between client expectations and proposed solutions.
• Establish best practices for presales processes and continuously improve proposal quality and response times.

Essential Skills:

• Extensive experience in presales, solutioning, proposal writing, and bid management for RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
• Strong technical expertise in test automation (e.g., Selenium, UFT), performance testing (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner), and QA methodologies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical solutions clearly and persuasively.
• Demonstrated experience in developing strategic partnerships and driving account growth through value-added solutions.
• Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and Continuous Testing practices.
• Proven ability to manage multiple presales activities simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7-12 years of experience in presales, software testing, solutioning, and proposal development.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, Agile, Scrum, or similar) are highly desirable.
