Head Projects

Minimum 18 -20 years of experience, Strong background in Project Planning & Execution preferably in the power / Transmission sector

Role & responsibilities

Accountable for the assigned transmission project planning & execution.

• Achieve deadlines in commissioning of assigned projects
• Ensure project costs are within budget and industry benchmarks for assigned projects
• Ensure high employee morale and engagement in respective team
• To ensure safety & quality standard implementation for assigned projects

Dealing with ROW, state administration authorities including police, collector, forest etc.

Strategic Roles & Responsibilities

• Review project plan based on benchmark trends of execution through external partners or internal capabilities and draw contingency/ back-up plans by developing alternate strategies in achieving project milestones
• Implement project plan, commence execution and monitor implementation to ensure efficient execution of project as per time, cost, resource management and specifications.
• Ensure adherence to the approved budget for the execution; and achievement of mile stones of the project as per completion schedule.
• Enable capability development of employees within the Site / Corporate teams by overseeing implementation of appropriate systems and policies.
• Ensure timely goal setting, monitoring, review of performance parameters and feedback to team members.
• Provide project progress data / report to the higher management
• Oversee succession planning for all key positions in the team and mentor and groom high-potential teams at all levels.
• Ensure proper usage of project management system across the locations for assigned projects.
• Maintaining liaison with Govt. utilities, Administration, Police and other relevant external stakeholders

People Management

Provide leadership and guidance to team and coaching to the team to achieve the operational and financial metrics within their areas of responsibility and succeed in their roles.

• Handling interpersonal conflicts promotes collaboration and respect among the team.
• Smooth communication with stakeholders

Handle multiple sites and good connection at sites with large group of people
