Lead Infrastructure Planner

Role & responsibilities :

• Lead the development and implementation of large-scale masterplanning projects.
• Oversee the creation of detailed plans, drawings, and models for infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with architects, urban designers, engineers, and city planners to ensure cohesive and sustainable designs.
• Conduct research and analysis on environmental conditions, land use, and zoning regulations.
• Prepare and present detailed reports and proposals to clients and stakeholders.
• Supervise the construction and installation of infrastructure projects to ensure they match the original plan.
• Integrate sustainability principles into all design projects, particularly on environmentally sensitive sites.
• Lead and manage a team of infrastructure planners and consultants.
• Steer the work programme and deliverables from the Infrastructure Consultants.
• Stay updated with current design trends, technologies, and regulations.

Preferred candidate profile :

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (BE Civil) from a reputed/Tier 1 institute in India.
• Masters degree in Infrastructure Planning from a reputed institute in India or abroad.
• Chartered status with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) would be an advantage.
• Proficiency in infrastructure planning and design 2D and 3D software is a must.
• Ability to lead a team and guide consultants is required for this role.
• Strong visual communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other professionals.
• Knowledge of zoning regulations and land use policies.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Extensive experience working on large-scale masterplanning projects in India or abroad.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate sustainability into design projects.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional licensure in civil engineering or a related field.
• MICE is preferred.
• LEED or IGBC accreditation is preferred.
• Experience in a consulting or design firm.
