Job Description
Experience
- 10-15 years of relevant experience in the aviation/similar industry
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Aviation Management, or related field
- Masters degree in Quality Management or Aviation Quality Assurance (preferred)
- Develop and implement quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with aviation industry standards and regulations
- Oversee the quality assurance process for aviation-related projects, including inspections, testing, and documentation
- Lead a team of QA/QC professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify areas for process improvement and risk mitigation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Stay updated on industry best practices, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to enhance the quality management system
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports on quality performance, highlighting key metrics and areas for enhancement
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and standards throughout the QA/QC processes
- Provide mentorship and training to team members to foster a culture of quality excellence and professional development
- Act as a liaison with regulatory authorities and certification bodies to maintain compliance and certifications
- Liase with the site construction engineers and provide assistance when requested
- Prepare nonconformance reports to the QA manager and other stakeholders and assist in developing corrective actions
