Cloud Security Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• 5+ years of experience with Cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure
• Experience architecting Amazon Web Services (AWS),Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure solutions.
• Experience evaluating, designing, implementing, optimizing, and documenting a comprehensive and extensive array of security technologies and processes.
• Design, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based systems.
• Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.
• Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and process functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
• Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements.
• Knowledge of enterprise application software (architecture, development, support, and troubleshooting)
• Experience performing threat modeling and design reviews to evaluate the introduction of new technologies security implications and requirements.
• Capacity to work in a team environment; excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Capability to work independently with minimal direction; initiative and motivation to work alone.
• Azure, AWS, and GCP architecture/security certifications preferred.
• Troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Proficiency in programming languages and scripting tools.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Knowledge of networking concepts, such as IP addressing, DNS, and load balancing.
• Understanding of data storage and database technologies, such as SQL and NoSQL.
• Possessing industry-verified cloud engineering certificates.
