Job Description
- Diploma / BEng. In Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized Institution.
- 10 years above post graduate experience in a similar capacity and environment.
- Operation of all ME equipment of building and grounds : This includes overseeing the overall building and grounds operation and service, maintaining custodial functions, conducting regular inspections, and ensuring emergency preparedness.
- Preventive Maintenance program : Planning and implementing preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and infrastructures, ensuring timely maintenance, and maintaining records.
- Outsourced Maintenance Service and PM contracts : Managing and reviewing service and PM contracts, checking completed work by vendors, and recommending cost-effective maintenance.
- Fire Life Safety : Developing and implementing fire prevention plans, identifying hazards, and ensuring emergency preparedness.
- Energy and utility management : Developing energy management strategies, creating awareness, setting goals, and reviewing results.
- Human resources : Identifying manpower needs, conducting performance appraisals, and keeping staff informed of expectations and goals.
- Guest relation : Striving to meet or exceed customer satisfaction, reviewing feedback, and setting targets to reduce complaints.
- Property management : Delegating work, assessing manpower requirements, carrying out repair and maintenance work orders, and monitoring KPIs.
- Budgeting/CAPEX Cost control : Preparing annual capital expenditures, budgets for utilities, maintenance, and labor, and planning for special projects.
- Training : Identifying training needs, preparing training plans, conducting training sessions, and reviewing training results.
- Inventory/Spare parts and Tools control : Ordering required spares, maintaining inventory lists, and ensuring quality of parts received.
- Minor Improvement program : Recommending maintenance and facility design modifications, planning and implementing minor projects, and supervising project implementations78798081828384.
- Environmental Management : Preparing manuals and procedures, coordinating training, and carrying out internal audits to comply with ISO14001 standards.
- Work Safety : Establishing work hazards, developing best practices to prevent accidents, and setting goals to reduce accidents in compliance with OSHA.
- Legal requirement (License cert) : Preparing lists of legal requirements, renewing licenses and certificates, and updating management on changes.
- Project Handover : Requesting construction drawings, carrying out site inspections, and testing all systems to ensure they meet design parameters.
- Task Force Duty : Participating proactively in task force duties for new preopening and maintenance supervision.
