Job Description
Experience
More than 10+ years of work experience in applications and systems with minimum 3 years in a similar role
- Hands-on experience with operating and maintaining large scale systems operations across geographies and diverse businesses
- Experience in developing SOPs (with policies and matrices) for Systems Management
- Familiarity with end-to-end security operations including Access Control, Traffic Management, Patrolling & Surveillance, Control Room Operations
- Experience of dealing with multiple stakeholders - internal as well as external
Education Qualification
- Bachelors degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or related field
- Masters degree or MBA in Operations Management or a relevant field (preferred)
Certification Required
- Valid mining certification or license as per local regulatory requirements
- Certifications in safety management, environmental compliance, or related areas (preferred)
Strategy Initiatives
- Engage with the business security team to understand their security applications and computer systems requirements
- Manage the execution of the applications and systems projects at the Corporate/BU/Site level
- Provide support in collecting and analysing cost data for monetary evaluations of proposed projects through cost analysis, budget estimation and ROI analysis
- Monitor adherence to project budgets through continuous review; Address budget overruns/ deficit if any
- Stay abreast with the new trends, latest technologies and advanced security applications and computer systems, to continually improve the Security infrastructure at Adani
- Adapt the latest trends to Adani context to build a better integrated, innovative and more efficient security technology ecosystem
- Support in formulating policy framework and matrices for updating security applications and computer systems
- Manage the execution of the organisation-wide diagnostic tests to evaluate the maturity of security processes; Identify technological interventions to drive process excellence
- Prepare design documents for Security Applications and Systems and validate from domain lead
- Gather site/ business requirements and align the Security Applications and systems with the stated requirements
- Coordinate with respective partner and internal stakeholders to drive the automation projects in a collaborative and time-bound manner
- Lead execution of all phases of the project at the site-level; Deploy the new systems and applications, and facilitate training sessions in collaboration with the technology partner at the sites to ensure seamless adoption
- Monitor adherence of the project to the group-defined frameworks
- Monitor the progress of the projects on pace of execution to ensure timely execution of the projects

- Experience in implementing continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean
- Advanced data analysis and reporting skills
Non-Negotiable Skills
- Proven experience in managing mining operations
- Demonstrated leadership in driving safety and operational excellence
- Bachelors degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or related field
