Job Description
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Master s degree in data science, Computer Engineering, or relevant discipline preferred.
- 15-20 years of experience in data architecture and management
- Demonstrated experience in airport or aviation industry is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of leading data architecture projects and teams
- Lead the design and implementation of data architecture and data modeling solutions for airport operations, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand data requirements and translate them into effective database designs and data management strategies.
- Proven experience in data analysis and visualization tools, such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance in the development of data standards, policies, and best practices.
- Oversee the integration of new data management technologies and software engineering tools into existing airport systems.
- Conduct regular evaluations and optimizations of the data architecture to support evolving business needs.
- Define and implement data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and advancements in data management and architecture and make recommendations for their application in the airport industry.
