Job Description
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field
- Masters degree in a relevant discipline (preferred)
- Develop and maintain comprehensive production plans for wind turbine manufacturing, ensuring alignment with project timelines and resource availability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess production capacity, identify constraints, and implement strategies to optimize scheduling and resource utilization
- Utilize advanced planning tools and software to analyze data, forecast production requirements, and facilitate informed decision-making
- Monitor and track production progress, identifying potential bottlenecks and implementing proactive measures to mitigate risks and delays
- Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components for manufacturing activities
- Conduct regular reviews of production schedules, identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement
- Provide regular reports and updates on production planning, highlighting key performance indicators and adherence to project timelines
- Adhere to industry best practices and quality standards while maintaining a focus on safety and sustainability in all planning activities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes and enhance overall operational efficiency
- Act as a key liaison between manufacturing, engineering, and project management teams to ensure seamless coordination and communication
