- Bachelor s degree in civil engineering or construction management is must. Masters in construction management will be preferred.
Job brief
In this role, one will be responsible for planning construction project and seeing their progress from start to finish in a timely and cost-effective manner. The key responsibilities will include construction budget tracking, organization, implementation, and scheduling of the projects.
As the Construction Manager, one will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Work with PMC will be advantageous. A keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills, ensure that all construction activities align with the established timeline and budget.
Expertise in project management will be crucial in coordinating resources, resolving any issues that may arise, and delivering successful construction projects. Experience in Project with LEED Certification is an extra edge.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
- Continuously reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
- Monitor all onsite and offsite constructions, to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
- Coordinate and direct contractors, vendors.
- Selection of tools, materials and equipment and track its inventory and availability as per schedule
- Meet contractual conditions of performance
- Review the work progress on daily basis
- Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
- Plan to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
- Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses.
- Analyze, manage and mitigate risks at Site.
