- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the smelting process to ensure optimal efficiency and output
- Implementing and maintaining safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure working environment
- Managing and supervising the smelting team to achieve production targets and quality standards
- Collaborating with maintenance and engineering teams to address equipment issues and optimize performance
- Monitoring and analyzing production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures
- Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and implementing sustainable practices in smelting operations
- Participating in the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
- Preparing reports on smelting operations, including production output, quality control, and maintenance activities
