Civil Supervisor

Note: This position is of third-party payroll

Objective

To oversee and manage maintenance activities for road and highway projects, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications. Coordinate with contractors and engineers to achieve timely completion of tasks, while maintaining accurate records and adhering to safety protocols.

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for day-to-day execution of the Maintenance works (Drain, Earthwork, RE Wall, PQC, structures, plantation etc.,) as per approved Maintenance program.
• Provide effective supervision to carry out the work in line with contract specifications / approved methodology.
• Co-ordinate with contractors for achieving monthly targets.
• Prepare DPR from approved program and ensure that the works are achieved as planned.
• Submit timely materials requirements to Maintenance Mgr.
• Co-ordination with Independent Engineers to conduct/witness inspection as per Contractual requirement.
• Report daily progress w.r.t cleaning & repair activities and other issues, etc., to the section Maintenance Manager.
• Optimum utilization of resources for achieving the targeted work.
• Certification of O&M contractor bills at the end of the month as per the scope defined.
• Assist the Maintenance manager in preparation of Monthly Progress Report and other reports as per CA.

Preferred candidate profile

• Must have worked in Roads & Highways
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word
• Must have working knowledge of powe point.
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
